Today's hard talk will be geared towards Perception and the impact it plays in our world.
This is the process by which people translate sensory impressions into a coherent and unified view of the world around them. Though not necessarily based on incomplete and unverified (or unreliable) information, perception is 'the reality' and guides the way humans behave in general.
Perception can also be seen as the process by which organisms interpret and organise sensation to produce a meaningful experience of the world. Perception in humans describes the process whereby sensory stimulation is translated into organised experience. Perception can be shaped by learning, memory and expectation (Gregory, 1987).
What I understand from the term perception is:
Perception is the way one sees and understands their surrounding and the rest of the world through the uses of their senses and memory.
